We are easily accessible by car, train, plane, and bus.

Here are the ways to travel to us:

Train: Take the high-speed train to Bordeaux (allow at least an hour in Paris to change trains), then continue on a regular train to Sainte Foy la Grande (10 minutes from us). You need a transfer for the last stretch (we will give you the info by email). The total journey takes around 8 to 9 hours. For train tickets, check the French site: https://www.sncf-connect.com/. People often find tickets cheaper here, especially if booked more than two months in advance when discounts are available.

By car: It’s 1,100 km from Utrecht. A few weeks before the start date of retreats, we’ll create a WhatsApp group for those interested in carpooling.

Flixbus: Check flixbus.nl for departure locations. Take the bus to Bordeaux, then from Bordeaux Saint Jean train station, take a train to Sainte Foy la Grande. We can arrange a transfer for you from there. The Flixbus is the cheapest option but also the longest, taking nearly 20 hours.

Plane:

Bergerac airport is 30 minutes away from us with regular flights from Rotterdam (with Transavia), Belgium and the UK. You can rent a car at the airport (handy when you want to visit the region) if not we collaborate with a local transfer service.

Bordeaux airport is 1.5h from us with flights from around the world. You either need to rent a car, take the train from Bordeaux Saint Jean trainstation to Sainte Foy la Grande and then a transfer, or take a transfer from Bordeaux.

Transfer: We collaborate with a local transfer service. Prices vary when participants share the transfer. It is between 15-40 euros from Bergerac, 10-30 euros from Sainte Foy la Grande.

Rental Car: If you plan to visit the surroundings, a rental car is convenient as there is no public transport to our location and we don't have any bicycles. If you land in Bordeaux, a rental car is also a practical option.
